New Year’s Eve at The elford
The brief for Elford’s New Year’s Eve event was to create artwork that appealed to an older, arts focused audience, while still feeling current and relevant enough to attract a slightly younger demographic. The creative needed to balance nostalgia with contemporary styling, positioning the event as cultured, atmospheric and distinctive.
The design drew inspiration from vintage record players and vinyl discs, using these nostalgic references as a visual anchor. Textural elements, restrained colour choices and considered typography were layered to evoke warmth and familiarity, while clean layouts and modern composition ensured the artwork remained fresh and on trend.
Overall, the creative bridged generations, capturing a sense of nostalgia without feeling dated, and reinforcing Elford’s identity as a venue that blends heritage, creativity and modern appeal.
