Overview
As part of the design team at Amped Digital, I contributed to the refresh and restructuring of the BrightSign Australia website, built on Shopify. The project focused on improving the presentation of a smaller, specialised product catalogue while ensuring technical product information remained clear, accessible and easy for users to navigate.
Strategy & Structure
Unlike large-scale eCommerce sites, the BrightSign product range is more focused and highly technical. The redesign aimed to create a clearer structure for presenting detailed specifications, product capabilities and supporting resources while maintaining a clean and approachable user experience.
The site architecture was refined to better organise products and supporting information, allowing users to quickly understand key features, technical specifications and compatible solutions.
Design & Layout
Working within the Shopify platform, I contributed to improving the layout and visual structure of product pages to support technical content while maintaining clarity and readability. Particular attention was given to information hierarchy, ensuring specifications, product details and supporting documentation were easy to scan and understand.
The updated design balanced technical depth with a streamlined interface, helping users navigate complex information more efficiently.
Outcome
The refreshed website provided a clearer, more structured experience for users seeking technical product information. By improving the organisation and presentation of content, the site better supports product discovery and communicates the capabilities of the BrightSign platform in a concise and accessible way.
